We wanted Beard:Life grows on to be a great game yes, but also a fantastical story with hidden depth, and meaning. Really, we needed to focus on the gameplay, but everyone wanted a story, and we did too. It's only a concept but I really liked the visual aethstetic my pieces took on. This was one of my first opportunites to experiment as a digital artist. The story is about a land where people and spirits live in harmony. The spirits lend the humans their magic, and with it life is good. One fateful day, the king dies - and with him, the connection to the spirits.
